Keep your hot dogs from becoming slush puppies this winter!
If you are one of those bedsharing puppy parents who can’t fall asleep without the sweet aroma of doggy breath in your bed, and you keep your pooch snuggled under your duvet from April to October, then we are not talking to you. You do you, and if you think dog hair is the perfect bedroom accessory, then we won’t judge you.
If, however, you love your pets but draw the line at doggie burps in your bed, then this is for you.
Winter is always a tricky time for pet owners, but it doesn’t have to be.
These are our favourite doggy warmers:
Infrared heating lamps
Infrared heaters work by converting electricity into radiant heat. It is basically the same type of warmth you feel when the warm winter sun shines on your face. It’s also the same heat that your own body emits.
Warming pads and orthopaedic beds
Warming pads can give your dogs a warm place to sleep all winter long and if you pair a heating pad with a memory foam or plush bed, your dog won’t want to leave their nest.
Insulated kennels
If your dogs are outside dogs, you can keep them safe and warm without to much fuss, as long as you give them a comfy hideout. Insulated kennels can work for both winter and summer ensuring that your dog’s sleep space just doesn’t reach the extremes of temperature of the outside world.
