Epic Braaing with Chad-O-Chef’s Boma Braai
Braais are where friends and family get together. It’s the smell of firewood on a Saturday afternoon and the sound of food sizzling on the grill. There are so many magical elements that make the perfect braai, but the technical elements are the ones you’ll have to consider most when considering a new braai. Braais are about functionality, space and quality and this is where Chad-O-Chef stands head above the rest when it comes to superior gas braais. Their latest product – the Boma Braai is their first wood-burning braai and a first of its kind in South Africa.
Experience and Quality
The late Ron Hollander started a small business designing and manufacturing quality gas braais in 1983. Ron did this in his spare time and the success quickly surpassed his expectations. A few years later, following his commitment to the company full-time, the demand for him to increase his range inspired him to adapt his designs to include gas fireplaces to the production line – now some of the most loved products by their happy customers.
A Full Range
Chad-O-Chef manufactures a variety of braais and fireplaces, specialising in stainless steel gas products, with a few exceptions as per clients’ needs and expectations. The brand has built strong relationships with retailers nationwide, ensuring only the best sales and aftersales service for customers.
The products are manufactured locally, making it easier to supply spares to customers who have owned Chad-O-Chef braais for over 30 years. This speaks volumes about the quality and longevity of their products. Their products are made from the best quality steel with impressive guarantees.
Chad-O-Chef says their products are all tested to SANS 1539 standards, and regular check-ups ensure that their clean-burning rating is far above standard. “Our products are designed with the end-user in mind. Ease of use, functional performance and long-lasting quality is what we strive for in our designs”.
The Boma Braai
The impressive Boma Braai is a free-standing wood-burning braai. It is accessible from any side which allows people to join in on the braai – whether they are socialising or hassling the one flipping the boerewors. A first of its kind in South Africa, it is available in different finishes to accommodate your look at home.
The Boma braai can easily serve up a vast range of dishes with its flame-hot griddle area. It spreads the heat evenly along the flat grilling surface and includes a perfect potjie area as well.
