B-Lumière Designs

Pretoria HOMEMAKERS Expo exhibitor, B-Lumière Designs derives its name from the French word meaning light while the B represents to be. Together these words illustrate the delicacy of B-Lumière’s products – to be light.

B-Lumière started in 2013 as a range of designer lights designed and made locally in South Africa. The lights were originally sold in markets in Centurion, Bloemfontein and Stellenbosch.

These mesmerizing light fittings are made from thin, durable plastic – so delicate and chiffon-like that they come alive with gentlest breeze. If a conversation piece is what you’re after, these lights will keep guests intrigued.

B-Lumière Designs is run by designer Clara Potgieter, although her sports fanatic husband has created 1 light fixture so far. From 2015 the lights were sold in smaller independent retail stores and is enjoying national success, with products sold in many retailers and specialist lighting stores across South Africa.

Although B-Lumière Designs has a wide range of lights, they’ve selected their top sellers to showcase at the Pretoria HOMEMAKERS Expo, all selling at discounted prices. Visitors will also have the chance to discuss and order custom designs and custom sizes from the brand at their stand at the show.

2017 saw the business expand into furniture retailing, with outstanding designs sourced from Indonesia and China, and soon the rest of the world. These furniture ranges are exclusive to B-Lumière Designs, guaranteeing visitors one-of-a-kind pieces –  so don’t miss out!
