On the Sensible Spend side, we have a couple of options that won’t break the bank but will add a hint of luxury to your daily bathroom routine.
The first bathroom gadget is a Memory Foam Bathmat.
You think you know the true meaning of comfort? Think again! Memory foam bathmats are where science and the golden age of comfort come together. Warm, soft, absorbent.
It’s like having a personal “post-shower foot valet” who lovingly cuddles your feet and gently soaks up drips and splashes.

Think sleek modern metal and bamboo with a stand for your tablet, a spot for your smartphone, a non-slip area for your snack bowl, and even a slide-in slot that ensures even the biggest glass of wine doesn’t tumble into the tub.

A bathroom sound system
This can be a R200 waterproof Bluetooth speaker that hooks around the top of the shower door, or a fully-fledged Harmon Kardon surround sound system built into your ceiling. It sounds like a novelty, until you have it. Listen to news and traffic updates as you shave. Sing out loud with your favourite tunes. Catch up on your podcasts. Even have a full stereo sound experience in the tub. You decide. But most of all – you deserve it.
