The Healthy Challenge
Lead by Lifestyle Chef, Izelle Hoffman, you will go head-to-head with other home chefs to cook up a delicious meal from a box of mystery items. As you cook, Izelle Hoffman will give you tips so you can learn some new skills along the way.
Individual and team entries are welcome, with a maximum of 5 people per team. Get your friends, family or colleagues together and impress Izelle Hoffman to be the last team standing.
The Prize
The prize, valued at R125 000, includes a day in your home with Izelle Hoffman herself where she will guide on how you can change your life by making better food choices.
Going through your favourite foods and meals, she will then design a custom 30-recipe, hardcover cookbook that will change the way you see healthy food.
The top individual home chef and the top team will each win this great prize.
The cost per team is R350 and goes to support all the great work Thrive For Good and Head Start Kids does in changing the lives of children across South Africa.

About Izelle Hoffman
Izelle Hoffman is SA’s newest rising star in the culinary industry. Growing up in a farm household with a passion for food inspired Izelle to develop her healthy culinary dishes.
Born with Congenital Hip Dysplasia, she is adamant to make people aware of the health benefits of eating the right foods. That means choosing a life where raw ingredients and freshness are priority.
Izelle is a successful businesswoman, television lifestyle chef and food editor for Muscle and Fitness Hers and Mens Fitness Magazine. She appears on SA’s largest television breakfast shows, Die Groot Ontbyt and Real Health on The Home Channel.
In partnership with Lily Geerdts, she launched an exciting campaign and platform called Thrive For Good. The platform helps corporates, estates and schools access organic vegetables, and vegetable juices straight from the farm. Thrive For Good also assists Head Start Kids, an NPO giving less fortunate kids, and malnourished kids a head start in life. Her passion for people and holistic wellness as well as her drive for improving the lives of communities around South Africa is unstoppable.
